I just feel like if they reallllly wanted hockey, they would have found a way. And that includes the community swaying politics if need be. But I don’t know the situation in detail, so maybe I’m wrong.
You've got multiple influential municipalities battling against each other and a weak owner. It's not a traditional hockey market, so you won't have people in the streets with pitchforks to keep a team that's been operated like a joke and passed from downtown to suburb to college.

If it was ever actually run like a business with the intent of succeeding as a hockey franchise, it probably would have worked fine.

Its weird getting so many big saves in a game huh.

Can't blame anything on pickard now.

Giving up too many grade A chances tonight from what I've seen

Idk, we haven't given up too many chances to be honest.

We definitely haven't been good though.

Mcdavid and Draisaitl literally hate playing in their own zone. They want to blow the zone every single time, the C should almost never be the first fwd to exit the zone and these guys almost always are, even before we have possession.

Neither of them want to play proper positional hockey and it throws off everyone they play with.

On what level would it have “worked” though you know. Just barely scraping by? A real hockey community would have pitchforked their way to a team. Floridas been at it for how long and they still have empty seats after a Cup season. Is San Jose making a profit yet?
