Lafrenieres skating was his ONLY caution at the draft. Its hard to imagine it developed so poorly or didnt develop at all to the point where his entire game suffers because he doesn't have that speed, and doens't play a style like Kakko that doesn't need blistering speed because he can puck protect.

Do we not have development coaches and people that communicate with players, work with them throughout season and work with their summer trainers in coordination to give expectations and goals for offseason training?

Laf was a "can't miss" prospect. So how has he either not helped himspef or we haven't helped him improve his skating
