Not sure how satisfied Dolan was after getting his playoff run last year and not sure how Drury feels about his own job after the guys before him we canned after a singular disastrous game...

But man. Poor goaltending in all 3 games but a 3-2 loss to the Ducks followed by that meltdown against Edmonton and now this against the Devils. Yikes. Gallant has gotta be sweating.

Thats not even mentioning the Isles 3rd period meltdown or the early Detroit game giving up a 2-0 lead.

Just look at the Devils for example. Vanacek 2nd goal was bad rebound control, but Devs didn't fall apart and give up 3 more.

Rangers took foot of pedal, Devils got a goal that Igor should've had, Rangers meltdown. Fragile weak soft mindset and subpar goaltending is not a good mix...especially with a hands off leave it to veterans coach
