I'm not quite ready to call for Gallants head like some...

but magic eraser Igor is not quite back yet and Halak has shockingly turned out to be worse than Georgiev...and the teams record has suffered.

Although, credit to Gallant, the knock on him last year was we were a lucky SH% tram with a good goaltender and we blamed him for poor team play.

Now team is a statistical "darling" in terms of controlling play, but our SH% is down and SV% is too. Teams playing better but having less luck so hard to blame Gallant even if his lineup decisions specifically in top 6 RW and Hajek over Jones infuriate us.

But Gallant needs to not always revert back to lines that he changed because they weren't working because his new lines aren't working either. Maybe stop mixing the same 6 guys and add others.

If this team needs more north/south to avoid turnovers against a good transition Devils team...try Gauthier. Speed and physicality and straight line play through NZ and of forecheck. Move him up.
