Unless the Bruins score 1st tomorrow night not sure I want to put myself through that again. This lack of finish is beyond astonishing, it's almost eerie, open nets galore, goal mouth scrambles, great looks and they can't even score 1 goal. Sweeney has to trade for a goal scorer, this team has rediscovered how to play Bruins hockey, but my oh my they need a finisher.
Frustrating investment of time.

This. The whole team is a dumpster fire. Sweeney set this team back many year with his amazing UFA signings this past off season. I can’t fathom how bad this team is at 5v5 scoring and on the PP. also MAC is trash
Dump and chase when you can’t win the race to the puck or the puck battle is just dump and turnover. Bad strategy, poorly executed.

Did you guys even watch the game? That was one of their best games of the season.
I watched. Looked great and still couldn't score a single goal. They can work as hard as they want and play a complete defensive game and they still simply don't have the scoring talent to make a difference.

Oh, and JT Miller wasn't even playing.

I mentioned the other day, Frank Vatrano and Ryan Donato, both UFAs on lousy teams, I know we traded them, but we need some offense and they both can score.
Vatrano can score, but Ryan Donato? Career high is 4 seasons ago when he had 16 goals, but was a -13. No, thanks.

Thanks for that insight.

Then, at this point give me a Zegras. I'll shift focus to him in hopes that he wants to prove himself to a team as bad as a team wants a 2nd top six forward.

No joke, watching the Sharks is more entertaining than this lineup.
But. is it because of Zegras or besides him? I'm just not convinced he's that good but I also don't watch him regularly (or, at all).

I get to see him. Has raw talent but the coaching situation in Anaheim is a NIGHTMARE.

Also, I'm really struggling to find to six talent that is young, under-performing and the team is looking to move them.

Boston really hasn't developed their own talent or prioritized scoring. They needed to spend to buy a 2nd-3rd line C in UFA and then decided to spend more on D.

Really though, this is just rinse and repeat for us this year; no scoring depth and no amount of coaching is going to make that go away.

The Bruins jsut fought tooth and nail to try and score a single goal. They didn't do that, and now this is a team that must fight to score 1 goal a night.

Back to paintdry Bruins.
