Dang Arizona has a nice top pairing defense but after that it falls off, who woulda thunk Luke Schenn would still be in the Nhl?

Wouldn't call this a trap game; but #CBJ must be careful to not overlook the 'Yotes. Need to bring 60 minute game to a building that will likely be sparsely populated. Calvert could certainly help if he starts.

Bob must continue to be Bob. Worried about the # of starts Bob is getting. The games have been spread out for the most part; but he is getting alot of work.

Our D needs to slow the Yotes in the neutral zone. Would like to see Seth Jones have a breakout game. He's been good but not great since return from injury.

Would really like to see Dubi's line build on last game.

Jackets 4-2

I would rather see Hartnell stay with the Wild Bill line and put Calvert with Gagner & Sedlak.

Hoping for a 5 spot. My FanDuel lineup would really appreciate it.

5-1, 5-2 ish...

Don't worry about Bob. He's getting no more starts than most other goalies. It might be a game or two high considering the lower number of overall CBJ games, but it's nothing ridiculous. I'm sure McE will continue to get part of the back to backs for the remainder of the season. Hopefully they actually win one of those soon for him.

Is there any study of the frequency of goalkeepers getting wear and tear injured whether they play more or less? Do back-up goalies suffer less injuries? Back-to-back games maybe make sense.

Scary game to say the least. Can't underestimate the other team as they seem to do against the "so-called" weaker teams. No sustained lapses in play. They need to come ready to play from the start and don't let down in the 2nd (has been one of the few issues they have had) no matter how successful they have been in 3rd periods this year.

Coyotes have a few good young players and a decent D-Corp and goalie. Oh and that OEL guy too. Looking forward to watching.

Try not to burn down our village too badly. Mildly torch? okay fine.

Don’t be afraid to fail. You can’t be paralyzed by fear of failure or you will never push yourself. You keep pushing because you believe in yourself and in your vision and you know that it is the right thing to do, and success will come.

Remember what Rami Summanen said? You are allowed to be afraid but you cannot become passive.

I tend to agree and as I said the games are spread out; worries stem from stats I read comparing shot attempts against in which Bob had faced more because of # of starts. Lot of talk this week on Sirrius XM around goalie situations in the league (Murray/Fleury; Bishop/Varlimov, etc). In each case they called out that it wasn't the regular season that a goalie with a heavy workload suffered as much as it was the postseason. Of course in Jackets case we'd probably all agree we need to ride Bob to reach that promised land.

If you can't catch the game on TV, it looks like NHL.com is streaming it for free tonight.

Most likely only for folks outside of Columbus, though. Local markets are usually blacked out on NHL.TV even for free games. FSGo should have it, too, but only if you have a qualifying cable / satellite subscription.

I've learned even more this year about this streaming stuff now that NHL.TV is included with DirecTV's Center Ice. It sucks, though, that it takes at least three different apps to watch all the games (FS Go for CBJ, DirecTV app for NBCSN and NHLN, and NHL.TV for everything else).

Oh, and Go Jackets. 3-1 good guys.

Don't care for the decision to start CMac tonight on the road... makes no sense to do it tonight instead of Monday at home.

Here's to hoping it doesn't matter and that I'm complaining about nothing after CMac records a shutout and 40 saves.

Regardless of whether it happened tonight or Monday, I'm glad CMac gets one of the starts. It's not just about resting Bob. CMac needs regular game action.
