First star Zack GOAL-duc. Now if we can keep playing like this and run off another ten in a row I’ll be a believer.
So, after watching this team with a real coach I think like I said earlier we do have the talent to make the playoffs. There is no reason we should have been this bad other than the coach.

VERY impressive, excellently-played game by The Blues tonight for Monty's first Game and win as The Blues coach. I hope it's first of a long line of Blues wins. A lot more than 5 years. 
The Blues looked like a completely different team from Bannister's. They look like they can compete for a Wild Card spot in The Playoffs. With Broberg coming back, they'll have an easier time of it.

Just think how we would be feeling if this was against the Flyers
Bolduc and Holloway were both over 15 minutes and played more than Schenn, Saad, and Kyrou. Amazing how much better the team looks when they aren’t grinding the old guys into dust! Monty will make a big difference.
Loved that after we took lead early in 3rd, Monty put 76 and 81 out there 4 on 4. Great show of confidence in them. They had great games.

Tonight you can see why Bolduc was drafted 17th overall, lots of good tools with Bolduc and he’s eager to improve and is coachable.
Happy for Monty. He deserves success here and I want him to win a lot of games with us. This was a perfect first game to get off on the right foot.
I expect Bolduc is about to take off now that he has confidence and a real coach. I had a feeling he’d score another quickly after he got his 1st.

If this team makes any kind of a run, I have a feeling our 1st is in play for a young ascending player to fit with this core.
