End the Liljegren PP experiment already. There’s a reason Toronto never used him there even though Rielly also sucks on the power play.
I'm with you, I liked the PP a lot better with Walman.

Granlund played too much hero hockey today on the PP and it cost him, but Lily isn't really taking control as the QB so he and others are stepping in and effing it up.

The guys just need to move the puck faster on the PP. way too stagnant today.

First game I can say was super frustrating to watch, because it felt like we could and should win it. That's a feeling I haven't felt with this team in a long time. But also, even though Buffalo isn't scaring anyone, you can really see what the top end talent does for them. Dahlin is very visible. Tuch is always noticeable. Skill all over the lineup.

Smith had a nice takeaway from Benson and a few good SOGs and a few good passes but still isn't yet imposing himself on the game. Celly is trying so hard out there but really needs some help. The lack of high end talent was evident today.

My last Debbie downer comment is that I worry the tank has forgotten how to be loud. I was expecting the good old days, and hopefully it was just the wind being taken out of our sails, but the crowd just wasn't as electric as it's been in the past. Maybe a winning team in the future will bring it back.

How is Logan Couture still collecting 8 million a year......I call bullshit horsetoothe....
are you just here to grief or what

That’s two games in a row that they probably should have won. Finding ways to lose these games is not habits we want the kids to be learning. You can see Celebrini getting frustrated.
probably more like they are working toward being able to win the games they should. it's not like they are coming from a place of winning games.

Couture is the one Shark where I feel like he’d play if he could. He isn’t satisfied just sitting and collecting a Paycheck.
That was a pretty shitty thing to say in general, especially if you've read anything about what the injury has been like, but especially for a guy like Couture who's never looked like he wants an excuse to not be involved.

I am sort of getting why Celebrini-Smith wasn't a a thing earlier and why it maybe shouldn't be anymore... Smith at this time is not keeping up with Celebrini and as Celebrini has sped up, smith has fallen further behind. He's just not contributing to plays on this line very much and most of the time is a liability, the player whose stick the play dies on. Maybe he really does need to gut it out with Goody and Kunin.

Then what are we doing with him?
