It would be nice to keep X in the lineup, and keep Harris in the lineup on the right side. X brings much needed toughness and Harris moves the puck well. Didn't Harris play RD most of his college career despite having a left shot?

X and Harris were a great pair in preseason.

You are supposed to work you way 'OUT' of the lineup, Arbs has not done this. Harris has done this several times. Kovacevic could easily sit a game he's been suspect, not to mention Savard if we are dressing players based on how they are playing.

Why is Xhekaj scratched

Frankly, because he's been our worst defenseman, covered up by his physical play and fighting attracting positive fan and media attention, and some spectacular on-ice luck, the sort of which is carrying us to win games that we really shouldn't.

Of all the players, he's the one who most desperately needs to be sent down to the AHL, which is not a slight against him in the least, but a necessity for such a young and raw player.

Kovacevic, on the other hand, has developed into a player ready for the NHL - one who is generally carries the load of most pairings on which he has found himself and is among the best defensemen that we have at suppressing shots and scoring chances.

To try to keep the room.......He isn't scratched but MSL has to play everybody else too, or some players will get pissed off and that will hurt the room. Harris didn't deserve to get scratched either, Kovacevic also played well enough.....

MSL is dealing with the problem, but it's a problem that Hugues need to fix.
