It might be just my perception, but I always found Markov to be very likeable. Immensely talented, yet shy and humble. In a world of cocky millionaires, he was a loner, he was different and yet, he was family. I wish I had the opportunity to say goodbye and thank you.

IIRC he had the same thing as Plekanec where he didn't want to be captain because he preferred to lead by example.

I miss how he'd walk up behind other Habs during interviews and do bunny ears or other goofs with them lol
