Missed the game, did Liles get hit from behind into the boards?

Nice to see the boys beat a solid team

He tripped over Bishop's stick while Bishop was coming out to play the puck. He was going full speed on the forecheck and went head first. Unlucky play but totally clean.

Also, looked like Czarnik's knee caught him in the head before he hit the boards.

I will be in Philly for Tuesday as well and also dealing with that issue I have been having in Bucks County. Looking forward to a cheesesteak.

I was planning to slow down this year but I miss it when I don't work.

I'm mostly sworn off meat, but the DH & I'd love to buy you a beer before the game.
We could toast your friend.

You know Kevin I faithfully follow you here and on Facebook. Not that Im a healthy eater but did you ever give thought to maybe...just maybe... your diet may have a little something to do with your trips to the Mt Auburn?

:D

I think thats 4 games this year with a goal in the final 2 mins or so that loses Rask the shutout, he could have like 7 shutouts already, crazy stuff.

It takes two -- both the defense needs to keep the opponents to the perimeter, and Rask needs to stop the shots that come. I hate to see him miss the shutout after he plays so well, but the team needs to play a 60 minute game.
Still, a 4-1 game counts the same in the standings as a 4-0 game, so I'm not going to complain (much).

Just in. I had to drop my daughter off at Logan and it was very crowded getting in and out.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES ??? Good For Jimmy. His fellow Bs were all very happy for him.

Nice win...I wasn't expecting it. Tuukka played well.

I hope Lyles will be ok...He looked like his eyes were rolling into his head when he was helped by us.

Dominic Moore has been so good. I love him on the B's.

Kevan Miller looked good !

"Where's the truth Lady? He's not the 2nd most reliable and he's not going to be protected.

I get it, you like him but he's really bad at hockey at this point and the only thing you can rely on him for is that he's going to get injured.
:

This was from the GDT. I know Adam is the third line pairing. I do like him on this team. Usually he and the Hobbit are a good pairing. People that are expecting Quaider to be our top d man are disappointed ...He was never suppose to be . I feel he has played well this season.

It was a good night at the Garden.

DKH predicted before the game that Jimmy would get a point tonight;)

The only bummer was dropping my daughter off to fly back to Calif. I always feel sad when she leaves.

Liles did not look good. The way he flopped on his back reminded me of Bergeron after the Jones hit. I was surprised they let him skate off. Didn't he have a concussion earlier this year?

Yes to the afternoon games!

...well it started at 7pm local time for me but it was nice to be able to watch entire game and drink few beers without a silly hangover and lack of sleep in the morning.

Pleasant game all over. Nice to see Jimmy scoring one and guys being so happy for him, i think they showed that sequence twice. Rask was huge, those 5 consecutive saves, that was something else.

Big win, well done.

Dominate one of the best teams in the league and 4 hours after a matinee game the thread is barely a page and a half.

Lose to Calgary and 4 hours later there are 4 pages of posts and people still posting at close to 2 am.

Says something, don't it? :shakehead

To be fair, I heard a rumor that there was some type of football game being played right after the Bruins game...

But I don't disagree with your point.

Oh look, another bruins win, another two page thread. Our loss to the flames reached 9 pages. Maybe this one can beat it!?

Nice to see the bruins win but it's always a looming threat they get scored on late pretty consistently, and have for the past 4 seasons now

Bergeron is definitely playing through pain, I just hope he rehabs it properly and gets hot late in the season when we really need the team to pull together

We get 4 x the traffic here for a Bruins loss on average. As a matter of fact if you take the time to do it you will see a strong group that log on to post only on loss nights. The exact same posters and I bet you $50 I can tell you what they will post before they even do it.

I'm posting here to try to get off the loss list.

Friend was a producer at WEEI before she quit in disgust. She told me if teams are doing well they call some of the regular callers to come on and fill time - a bad loss and the switchboard explodes.

Fellowship Of The Miserable, this is what we do in Boston

A win is a win, great to get points.

I missed the game as well but watched the highligjts a couple times.

I honestly don't know what to think of this team, one would think they would beat Calgary and lose to the Bolts.

One word, Jimmmmmmyyyyyyyyy.

Love it. Thanks. It makes the board arduous to be on. I truly wonder where that mentality comes from

Krug is looking better. I'm still hoping this team can put it all together as the season wears on.

Stop getting scored on late and buck the trend of losing games late and I'll be happy

Yeah I've noticed that, too. I don't think it's people reveling in misery or being pessimistic, as much as it's reveling in being 'right' and putting down other posters in the process. Seems to be kind of a sport to some. It's a shame, too, because there are some really intelligent, well-informed posters who used to contribute to some good hockey discussion, but many seem to be more obsessed with the competition on this board, rather than that on the ice.

Actually it's pretty simple.

Bruins fans are passionate and their significant others / friends don't want to hear them vent and ***** about a Bruins loss.

It's a cathartic experience to come and vent to other fans who share the frustration and then move on with your day.

You don't need to vent after a win.
