That’s on MSG for not giving a good angle, it was pretty clearly not over the line (watching the Edmonton broadcast) and the rule is the rule. If they’re gonna review it then they’re going to go by the letter of the law. This idea of ‘well it didn’t affect the play’ is dumb, just get rid of the review if you want that and we’ll be left with 5 foot off sides calls missed then

The difference was very minimal. There was no clearly about it. Just speculation from those calling it over the line and those calling it behind the line.

It’s like the goal line, the puck isn’t in unless it completely crosses the line.

In order to change “states” at all (aka entering the goal, neutral zone, or defensive zone) the puck always needs to 100% cross the line or it’s not in.
