We agree on this at least. The 4th line is producing, playing well, and there's no reason to pull anyone for Kravtsov's sake.

This is actually an issue going back to Lundqvist. I don't remember the stat specifics, but going back 10 years the Rangers far and away lead the NHL in losing a shutout in the final minute of a game.

I for one couldn't be happier for Julien Gauthier. We need to stop on this board with contorting ourselves to try and facilitate Kravtsov.

Gauthier can fill the 4th line role, he brings speed that line didn't have, and hes figuring out the scoring. Its been a long time coming for him, its been a trying process and hes worked through it.

We have a defined checking/shutdown line centered by Trocheck. Kravtsov is the last guy that could EVER warrant moving Goodrow off to insert him on a line when he can't stay healthy and isn't a checking forward.

He's not knocking anyone from this top 6. Kravtsov can sit and wait his turn if it comes.

This would be a potential move that actually makes sense given lineup structure of defined top 6 bottom 6. Trocheck and Gauthier on same line would be like 2 bulls in a China shop. Menacing

But don't make that change yet...don't switch whats working. Mind you Edmonton isn't the defensive gold standard of the league, but I've liked the way we've looked so far
