It's 123 proof. I could probably run a lawnmower with it.If it's shine..ithink you should have it with some fries and gravy.

Work buddy brought me a bottle back from his Ireland trip a few years back. I've never had occasion to open it.I now have a new liquor to look for
Petry had a good game. Taking that penalty woke Larkin up.
That play where Chiarot took the puck carrier below his goal line and Larkin followed him leaving the Islander wide open in the slot for a glorious scoring chance... did anyone else see the look Chiarot have to Larkin after the save and whistle? Kind of a "dude, what are you doing?" look.
Yup, just saw that in the highlights. I was taught that, if the puck is below the goal line, generally a F goes there so the D can cover the slot. But on that play Chiarot was closer to the puck than Larkin and tried to put pressure on it. That is fine. But Larkin just followed Chiarot to the boards and left the slot unattended. Rare bad defensive play by Cap.Petry had a good game. Taking that penalty woke Larkin up.

Chiarot likes to chase the puck carrier. He was on the half boards for both of the goals against.
I missed the play but, seems like nobody is on the same page as Chiarot.
That's cause he doesn't adjust to his teammates, he just plays his game like he said once in an interview. Turns out his game matches no one else in the game. Hate Chia's plays with the puck, as they are almost all garbage.
We're also 0-3-0 against the rangersIt also means the team is 6-10-2 against the other teams.
We're also 0-3-0 against the rangers
Overall, we're 4-4-0 against New York teams and 5-6-2 against non New York teams.
What does it all mean?
I had to look up where the Devils played. Turns out that New Jersey team actually plays in New Jersey.Think I got 5-4-0 against New York teams.
Rangers 0-3-0
Buffalo 1-1-0
Devils 1-0-0
Islanders 3-0-0
New York is pretty good for the Wings, until Devils will blow us up on last 2 games.
Hey, it's only one game against Calgary, and then we are gonna face the next New York team again!
This has been my biggest gripe with this team. They get in the o-zone and try to make perfect plays. They need to get greasier and score goals like Larkin and Raymond’s last nightWhere is this game the first 50 minutes? Just bring this every time, each period. Mix up shots, throw them down an open lane if you see one, toss trash on net and hope for rebounds. Both of those goals weren't them trying to be pretty, they were urgency to just get the puck on the net.
Don’t worry he will be scratched Wednesday nightNot one of the 3 stars by any means, but I do think Johansson had a nice game tonight.
Agreed.I see all of the D chasing a fair bit. I think it is the defensive coverage the Wings try to play, but during any sort of extended pressure they can't maintain it, guys lose track of who they are supposed to be on and we end up with multiple guys taking one guy, or someone just lost in space resulting in stuff like Petry being stuck in no man's land with two guys to defend next to the net.
Considering this has been happening for two years, maybe Fester should be looking to change it to something his guys can actually handle.
Here's a statistic I'd be curious to see: how many odd man rushes end up without a shotThis has been my biggest gripe with this team. They get in the o-zone and try to make perfect plays. They need to get greasier and score goals like Larkin and Raymond’s last night
Agreed.
As satisfying as it may be to fire Petry into the sun, that play started when Fischer left his man and got stuck in no mans land. Suddenly there’s two guys wide open in front of the net and only one Petry.
And as I’ve said before forwards need to win puck battles in their own end. The reason the Wings get pinned in their own end isn’t purely on the D. Players need to win the puck and have a zone exit strategy other than a high lob.
Yes please to upgrading the defense but the chaos in their own end is a team effort.
