Our warts are obvious but Carolina doesn’t really look great. They interfere like crazy. So annoying to watch.

Carolina is *extremely* reckless physically when they get going. They don't protect themselves at all and just charge around the offensive zone.

It wouldn't take many hits to knock that out of them. You just have to actually hit them in open ice instead of excuse me bumps in the corner and gentle orbiting in the slot.

They play with *zero* fear they're going to trucked.

I hate how they get away with interference all game and then dive when someone tries to get around the interference

Outside of that 3 or 4 minute flurry from Carolina the Rangers have played well, using Carolina’s aggressiveness against them with hard rims and flips works.

Catching up on the happenings of this game so far.

Brett Berard was the most obvious "will be an NHL player in some capacity provided that he gets a bit heavier" players despite his small stature in his draft year. Was insane that he fell as far as he did but thats the NHL for you. Big guys need to prove they can't play, small guys need to prove that they can.

Shoutout to @Amazing Kreiderman for this stat but the Rangers have goals from a 5th and a 6th round pick of their own in this game.

I need Mika off this team, or in the player assistance program. He has to go. He is cancer. There’s more kids who can contribute next year. Unfortunately no centers and Chytil will never be healthy enough to be your top C. But Sykora, Perrault, Otthman with Berard, Cullye and Edstrom, Kakko and Chytil… get the vets out of here. But Mika, to me, is literally this giant sack of sad self pity that just infects everyone. Gotta go.

It's the longest of long shots but I'd love to see something around Mika for Zegras. We'd have to overpay, but it's problem child for problem child and we can see whether Zegras works as a pivot here and then trade him/let him walk if it doesn't while still having Mika off the books
