I think they should hold out for a 3rd or re-sign him. He’s a beast down low and in front of the net. We can always use that.
Agreed. A few fans in this are extremely underrating Brazeau. He is a complementary player but has size and skill combination for a 3rd line and net front presence on a PP.

I'd prefer he return but a 3rd would be reasonable.

Brazeau is polarizing. He is very good around the net as a passer, shot tipper and goal scorer. No reason to think he wouldn’t score 20+20 in a full time third line gig. He has terrible acceleration and agility. On the right team, his detriments could be overlooked, but it’s hard on a team like Boston that has rough skating up and down the lineup.

I'd send a 3rd for him, but I've wanted the Habs to go for him since he signed his 2 year AHL deal with the Marlies.

I'd also look at John Beecher from the Bruins.

20-20 is very generous. I would say 15-15 and that's high for assists. You do summarize the argument nicely though.

He is worth more than that, but I mean what’s the plan with him? I thought he would be signed by now
Because he’s not been signed and you don’t know the plan for him you propose shipping him out for a return that you state yourself is too low????

I don’t know what plan is for Frederick, either. Freddie for a 6th? Who says no?

Hard to see a fit, we have plethora of bottom 6ers and have a couple of rookies who could need playing time in ohgren and yurov.
