Have to do more to generate offence. But I don't think the Kings were getting many dangerous chances. Even if they spent most time chasing the Kings' cycle, they mostly kept them to the outside.

One of those games where big strong teams hold us on the boards and we can't generate much. Our forwards don't help our D much either, they are flying the zone too early and the Kings are cutting off everything.

The Kings' defencemen are a pain to beat 1on1. Gavrikov is 6'3" 220lbs and looks thick like an oak tree. Fake powerforward Josh Anderson isn't going to beat him. Doughty is incredible with his stick and his feints. The Kings Fs all collapse with tenacity.

The Habs need to keep plugging away, I suppose. But we can't set up a cycle and can't beat them to the puck -- so what do you expect?

This team is unwatchable this year. We lost plenty last year and the year before but this year feels the same as if Ducharme was coaching again. There’s no sign of any type of system out there whether that’s defensive, neutral zone or attacking scheme. Puck retrievals and forechecking is atrocious. I hope the address the coaching this offseason.

Habs need to focus on offense and stop trying to play the King's system which they will lose all day.Pheonix Copley is garbage but won't score without shots
