Last year at this time. Basically, Oilers management just hope and pray that goaltending will sort itself out

It’s written on all their faces when one goes in.
Definitely. The fact that they are something like 3rd in high danger chances against but also have the leagues worst high danger save percentage has to be deflating. Every time a team gets a decent scoring chance it turns into a goal. Skinner needs to be demoted or traded. He can’t keep sinking this team.

This score is flattering the Oilers. They got f***ing stomped. The other team was prepared.

Is anyone surprised though? Minnesota always destroys us. We are 2-10 in our last 12 games against them. And that’s with McDavid. I remember them dominating us when I was kid. Their goalie Backstrom had an insane record against us.

I need @Oilhawks to find a stat, buddy. Schwartz has been the goalie coach since 2014. What is his average gaa in that time for all of the goalies.

I'm willing to bet it's 0.880

Can't blame the goalies if it's a common trend.

I ask you, oilhawks because you're good at finding stats

All you need to do is look at Mike Smith's save % his years with the Oilers. He was .902, .923, and .915

And he famously sought "outside help" after a poor first year

Schwartz sucks but Skinner is bad.

So without that fluke goal we generated 1 goal against this big defensively solid Wild team. Same issues we had beating Florida.
