This team would have already won a cup or two with real goaltending - just imagine where we would be with a Shesterkin caliber goalie

sure but even when they get good goaltending, and they have had a few good goaltending games this season the players are still making the same braindead plays in the Ozone, passing away grade A shots AND missing those passes, almost all the passes end up in skates, or deflect of defensemen. Theres no hockey IQ on offense and that isn't the goalies fault.
I definitely agree that the offense has completely lost the plot. Trying to skill their way to goals without the effort and willingness to go to the tough areas. Leon and Connor are so good they make it work but even they are still guilty of falling into it.

Nuge is in need of a healthy scratch reset once the team gets a couple guys back.

Skinner: 4GA, two goalposts that had room, two goals called back. Thats like 8 pucks that got by him in two periods on less than 20 shots. This guy is so bad its surreal. stilll people post game will say 'not his fault'

This game should be over and somehow its not.

Wild working for everything. Oilers with two lucky goals.

Just being honest but I prefer the Wild in this game. Its hard to like what the Oilers are doing out there.

The local media’s obsession with protecting Schwartz and Skinner is bordering on something that needs to be studied.

I don’t know what it is about these two that shields them completely from any media criticism, but it’s there.

It’s at the point where Skinner needs to be badly shelled in the third here just to rip the band aid off and make even the biggest deaf dumb and blind supporter of these two admit that it isn’t working.

Fair but firing another coach is not the solution..

I see the fanbase turning on Knob but it's very misdirected. The core issues are always the same core issues. Too much reliance on McDrai, garbage depth, inconsistent defense and goaltending, questionable leadership. Same Old Same Old
Fair to point out that part of that is another no show season from connor Brown. Seriously aren't you the least bit disappointed? Not singling out but he's one of several that has conned this org to being here. What a nothingburger this guy is.

No joke I often forget he plays for the team. Like halfway through the game the brain clicks when he touches the puck.

Really don’t understand the team we’re building anymore. Last year, you could rely on our speed. If we can’t outsize teams we could atleast outskate them. This year, can’t outsize or outskate.

Yeah. His all round play has been crap. Slow to pucks, last man coming back in own zone. He's got every lazy box ticked but the whole trumped up legend of the player is he's such a guts and glory hard worker. I've never seen it.
