Every mornin' at the rink you could see him arrive
He stood six foot one and weighed 195
Kinda broad at the shoulder and narrow at the hip
And everybody knew, ya didn't give no lip to Big Sac

Big Sac, Big Sac .....Big Bad Sac

Nobody seemed to know where Sac called home
He just drifted into town and stayed all alone
He didn't say much, kinda quiet and shy
And if you spoke at all, you just said "hi" to Big Sac

Big Sac, Big Sac .....Big Bad Sac

Then came the day at the end of the rink
When the plexiglass cracked and the boys couldn't think
The players were praying and hearts beat fast
And everybody thought that they played their last 'cept Sac

Big Sac, Big Sac .....Big Bad Sac

Well, that was fun.

They played with energy, they were really physical, they were mean, they defended well in the Dzone, and Nzone, no 2on1's, no 3on2's against, the penalty kill was good, the power play generated a lot of good chances, they put pucks on net from everywhere...

It wasn't perfect, and we still need more offense, but you gotta walk before you can run and that was a step in the right direction.

Wasn't feeling well and had to hit the sheets in the first period and watch from under the covers.
McAvoy et-al played better but he still needs to fire away on the PP
without the hesitation that he shows.
If the B's had him taking the occasional one-timer it would add
a Hell of a lot to the attack on the PP.
IMHO the Bruins played one of their best games so far this season
and should've had a few more goals but a hot goalie and a post or two
and it ends at 1-0.
Korpisalo trade is looking pretty damn good for Don Sweeney because is not
for him, and Kastelic this team would look dreadful.
All in all, a satisfying win for a change, and I hope that it doesn't revert back.

They are not trading Pasta. I have that foolish poster on ignore after too many stupid posts.

Just got home and read through the GDT.

The drive home sure is shorter after a win.

Korpi was great.

Pasta and Brad looked good. Mac had a good game.

The team played well. Loved all of those shots on net. The shot counter was off in the first...It was nuts.

After reading through the GDT, I give an A+ to @PlayMakers for his positive upbeat posts!

Oh, did I say Korpi was great?
Thanks! I had to go run a practice after the 2nd so I stopped posting. I watched the 3rd period after practice. Very encouraging start to the Sacco era.

Thought Zacha was very good tonight
Because he was lol

saw bits and pieces of the game. the PP had like 20 SOG?? that's wild. one thing i think i saw...they seemed to simplify a lot of stuff,
along with the PP where i didn't see any of those stupid drop passes in the NZ (but again, i didn't see a lot of the game, so maybe it was
just when i was watching).
Mason Lohrei especially the power play end of first was dynamic

He should be running it

Yea he just had 110 pts season.I think you are trolling us because there is no way you can be serious.
He's the kind of player that gets coaches fired. I'm a BRUINS' fan, but I'd be a happier BRUINS' fan when Pasta is purged from the team.
BTW, we all are watching the same guy, right? The coaster who wears #88? And only plays hard when he wants to?

I'm sure if he was named Dave Parker there wouldn't be that kind of reaction.

They still haven't scored a third period goal that counted in TD Garden

Marchand reminded me of Paille's cement hands this game ..but Marchy always plays with heart

It did get kinda hairy in the 3rd, but they hung on, and a win is a win is a win ..and the B's will gladly take the two points ...however they can get 'em
Funny to complain Marchy's hands when everyone are playing scoring chances for the other guy, who just keep missing chances from left and right. Marchy's wrister keeps declining but with a little more luck, couple of those 5-6 posts would have gone in. He still has accuracy but not power.
