Obviously sarcasm but he did bring constant effort and a willingness to hit. Tons of energy as well. To this fan he’s a better option than Lauko who often looks too complacent.

Hell I’d have him in there over heinen as well but that’s not going to happen
''constant effort and a willingness to hit''
Aren't those are the main ingredients required to win?
Put Steen in for Frederic.

Didn’t think the Bruins were as good as their record, but don’t think they are as bad as they have been the last 3 games, definitely think they are a soft team with zero pushback ,I personally wasn’t happy with the game against Florida ,sure they got the two points but were man handled again like the playoffs. They haven’t looked right since that game and have been pushed around by three teams in a row now, without any kind of pushback.
Pushback is the concerning aspect for me. Sure, a good team with a solid commitment to defense and good goaltending can keep their cool and come out the other side with a win against a Florida, despite being pushed around and run at. But I just don't think that's a sustainable strategy in the long term come playoff time.

The losses are what they are, what concerns me more is how players are getting abused.
Pasta got ragdolled, McAvoy gets manhandled and goes flying into the boards slow to get up, Frederic almost gets Ted Green'd in the slot. etc.
If something doesn't change they'll be so many injuries we won't recognize the roster second half.

None of those guys were injured.

Lohrei had moments that made you go this kid is legit and already has some world class skills at 20 years old, and he also had moments where he looked absolutely out of place. I think until the former start outweighing the latter by a 4 to 1 scale, he should be developing playing top pair minutes in Providence.

I typically hate cliches, but the Bruins need to simplify. Quit reading the press releases about how great they are and make simple, smart plays. In Tampa, a simple puck in the corner by Marchand or just getting the puck past the blue line by Zacha results in a regulation win, instead of an OT loss.

In Columbus, a 2-on-0 with two of your best offensive players, and no shot? And sometimes it's smarter to play territorial instead of endlessly fixating on possession. Grzelcyk should have just batted the puck out of harm's way instead of serving it on a platter to the CBJ player.

Pulling Swayman was a panic move, and more or less backfired. The first goal wasn't pretty, but the Provorov goal was superbly placed, and through a screen. Swayman has earned a longer leash not only this season, but in the game, stopping two Gaudreau breakaways.

As for pushing back, the B's simply don't have the players to do that; and I think some fans take it personally when the B's are roughed up. Their pushback needs to be on the scoreboard, i.e. converting 2-on-0's.

Otherwise it's a Buffalo/Paul Gaustad scenario. Initially no one responds, Gaustad does the next game, gets pummeled, and they're worse off.

Missed this one.
Highlights showed alot of bomber pass, odd rush. Defence being easily separated is lack of reading well the game. Sway would like to see at least the first goal.
I am pretty comfortable with adversity. They are facing some, are being challenge. I don't hate it. They will find a way to get out and come back stronger.

I like your optimism.
