Jordan Kyrou has only been on the Ice for 10 goals against 5v5 this year. Also the only forward who has played every game this season that has less goals against is Holloway who has 9 GA.

Kyrou also has the lowest GA/60 for forwards on the team as well as being one of only two forwards on the team with 3GA/60+ (Kyrou is at 3.07, Bolduc is at 3.14).

He has been as engaged on defense as he is on offense, maybe more? Speaking of, just forced a mistake on the Sharks. Very out of the ordinary this season to see more criticism of his offense than his defense, forechecking, etc.

I agree with others' assessments of Bolduc. He does a lot of little things right and he should absolutely see more minutes. I like him with Holloway, hope that sticks for a while.

My biggest issue with him this year is turnovers. Yeah he should have more goals, but at least he's still putting up points at a consistent basis.

And i have a hard time being upset by his offense when he has the same amount of assists as our 2nd place player has total points.

peru was out there with faulk again, he hasn’t looked out of place when he has played in the top 4 the last 5 or 6 games

Really need somebody on that line who can pass.
I think they'd be amazing with a guy like Bozak between them.

Maybe if The Dizee reads this he'll ease up on asking Army to trade him after every failed breakaway? :naughty:

Let's be honest, Kyrou absolutely has some big issues with his game. He turns over the puck a lot, he's prone to cold streaks, he has a habit of not giving it his all at times, and makes some weird decisions at really bad times. But he's still leaps ahead of the player he was 2 years ago.

Players mature and grow at different rates. Hell look at how long it took for Perron to get to where he was during the cup run. But Kyrou has made very good strides in maturity (he's not sulking every time he doesn't score on a shot anymore as example) and off puck play this year.

Indeed, Perron made himself into one of the best puck control pests in the League.

Not impressed with Celebrini.....yet.

Macklin had plenty of room entering the Blues zone, but passed it off. Mistake. Show off your skills, kid!

Lots of Swedes and Lunds on the Sharks.

He reminds me of Rosen a few years back
Rosen is a much better skater and can help a team's offensive game. Scheuneman is pretty much a stayu-at-home guy, who can be more effective in the physical game, and move enough to not be gotten around as easy as a pylon (like some of the career AHLers that played regularly on weak Blues' teams). Scheuneman will be a good fill-in. I hope their defence doesn't stay so weak that he becomes a regular 3rd pairing player.
