Another game this time against the Sharks. Does our terrible play against the Sharks continue? Or do we come out and play well? You never know what you get when you go against the Sharks.
Same, hope Bamnister keeps them together and gives them an extended multiple game look.I'm liking the 3rd line.
I hope so. I don’t care about the “underlying numbers” argument. We have youngsters who need more TOI than they’re getting. If we lose to these Sharks again tonight, I think the noise around Bannister/Montgomery will pick up significantly.
The underlying numbers aren't painting a pretty picture for Bannister at all. The roster stinks but Bannister could potentially hang his hat on developing key young players, but so far that hasn't happenedI hope so. I don’t care about the “underlying numbers” argument. Unless there is some great explanation for this, Banny needs to go or be forced to play our youngsters more.
That would be bad for the tank.If we lose to these Sharks again tonight, I think the noise around Bannister/Montgomery will pick up significantly.
thought we might see hofer again tonight
hopefully binnington can outduel askarov
f*** the tank. Young players need to be developed and if Bannister is not doing that, then something needs to change. That would be bad for the tank.
Binner has got some balls on him. He's also a decidedly weird dude.
Apparently they are 6-4-2 in their last 12. We had better not take them lightly.just beat the sharks like everyone else does
Most Goalies ARE as far as I've seen, and at most levels, too. It starts at a young age. They get a chip on their shoulders from being "forced" to play in net by being the slowest skater. Then, getting more blame than they deserve when their team loses. It makes 'em nasty. Binnington is one of the few that has been able to vent that pent up frustration, by being chippy (and sometimes downright belligerent). Glen Hall kept it all inside (except for the occasional sneaky slash on forwards passing by) - so he had to vomit before every game. That would be bad for the tank.

They will be tough to play against. The Blues will have to focus on puck possession, which seems to be the thing they do the worst.Apparently they are 6-4-2 in their last 12. We had better not take them lightly.

THIS Blues team can't afford to take ANY NHL team lightly. At least they have Thomas back, so their top line should be able to score. And I like the new line of Bolduc-Holloway-& P.O. Joseph. Maybe they can help with the scoring, and Toropchrenko can somehow score on a breakaway, too. I smell a win tonight. Last home game before a tough road trip. So, let's bag a win.Apparently they are 6-4-2 in their last 12. We had better not take them lightly.

I just switched to the Away broadcast.I like Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda on NBC Sports California calling the Sharks broadcast. Will be listening to them over Kelly and Rivers.
