When Dominic Moore more is your 3rd leading goal scorer you are in trouble.

Same old management keeping the Talbots and Kempainens for too long and doing the same thing over and over.

Yet the only adjustment Claude and Sacco can seem to make is demoting Ryan Spooner to the 3rd or 4th line LW, or swapping Marchand and Spooner between PP units.

I'm kinda nervous thinking what Spooner's worth is even at right now..the longer he plays like this, Sweeney isn't gonna be able to get much for him by the deadline.

His value is gonna be so low.

I think he still has value but he's a diminishing asset at this point.

I will be constructing an elaborate Jimmy Hayes Shrine in my closet, light some candles and see what happens.

I'm never one to hope for a building year, even when there's a slim chance at even a little success...but for the first, if it came along with getting rid of the flotsam (Hayes, crappy D guys, etc.), there's definitely a silver lining I can really get behind.

I have no idea how people still tolerate Julien, at least if you are going to lose at least develop young players and play an exciting style of game.
