I expect more from Tolvanen and Heponiemi to be honest. They got some points against Slovakia, but otherwise have been pretty much invisible. Finland needs them to step up if they are going to do better.

This should be an interesting 2nd period.

If the U.S get's that next goal do they start to roll or do we get a real push back from the Finns?

Does anybody think Team USA got a bit of a monkey off their back during that 3rd period comeback against Sweden? I thought at the time that they looked really alive, and also wondered if they could replicate that in their next game.
Ah, just some rambling thoughts.

Much better. Heponiemi looks too weak for the small rink game. Tolvanen has a huge monkey on his back and is desperate for a goal. Kupari also needs to improve.

But as I said at the start of the game, I think Finland will lose this game for not defending their own blue line well enough (see the goal). Finland is playing to the US' strength. I wonder if the coaches scout their opponents at all. Finland's chance is if some forwards get their game going because this team will leak goals.

Didn't Heponiemi play in Swift Current? He's used to NA ice.

I haven't watched Finland at all this year til this game and am not knowledgeable of their team. Are there any top rated players to watch?
