That was crap. Fins are crosschecking like crazy as the ref watches, USA guy crosschecks back and the Fin falls down , penalty USA.

They usually call the retaliation.

Yeah, 9 minutes for Kakko after 2 periods is way too low especially when he was by far the best finnish forward.

The ironic this is I'd argue Canada and Finland are both the best teams on paper. Just not clicking as I said before.

Interesting. I haven't watched Finland until this game, and did not know how they looked on paper, so have to admit ignorance because I did not do any homework on them. On ice, I thought they would be better but maybe I am just basing my expectation on how great they have been on occasion recently at WJC.
