Watching Nyman out there on the "first" line makes me hate Vesalainen's "career choice" even more. I hope his season ends quickly and with little impression made.

Wouldn't be so confident about Canada beating Finland. Finland has a better team than Russia imo. The team while being the best on paper just isn't clicking at all.

If he was 6 feet tall he’d be very highly regarded. If he has half the heart his dad showed in his career he will find a way to succeed in the NHL, even at 5’7” or whatever his height.

It's a bit brutal to watch. Nothing is clicking in place. I'm looking at the coaches and if they don't find good ideas very fast this tournament will be a huge flop for Finland.

US still looks pretty meh to me so far...wait until we play a real tough team like Russia or Canada, I have not seen that next level from this team..same 4-5 guys carrying the load that rarely wins out.

I think they are getting to finding themselves as a team. It's not like they have no talent.
Reading some of the posts about the US roster I thought many people were very down on Hockey USA in general and their roster choice and the coaching. I don't know enough to have an opinion on that but I do think USA is improving as the games progress.
