Yeah, at no point was that ever what I was implying, and I think you know that.
Why are you quoting me? I didn't say anything

I heard Taylor Hall might be on his way out of Chicago. The Sharks are just 4 points out of the playoffs. Let's trade for Taylor Hall and bring him here to make a push for the playoffs!
Hall is washed but Joel Farabee would be an interesting buy low candidate to fill that LW spot next to Mack and Will.

He's not going to yield a 1st though. Teams trading for him are not going to be deploying him 21 mins a night like the Sharks and therefore he's not really close to a PPG player in terms of value.

For most playoff teams, Granlund is hopefully your 3C that can bump up to 2C in case of injury or play the wing when needed. He's a 15-16 minute a night player 2/3 liner and PP2 type. I don't see teams giving up a 1st for that in a 5'10 package.

Probably and very likely, but never say never. I guess it will depend on the circumstances of SCF contending teams and what shape they are in, injury-wise.

Sharks got a 1st from Goodrow going to Tampa. Although he's 4 inches taller than Granlund, I was surprised he fetched a 1st back then.

Well we also gave up a high 3rd. At least the player Tampa got in the third is still with the organization!
