They should dangle one of Augustine or Cossa and get another D-man. Too much old baggage on D2 and 3

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a player who had all the tools to be a star and just… seems to not… want to be so much.

Ideally I'd sacrifice Rutta on the altar of bringing up a promising Cuda kid. Realistically it'll probably be Thompson because reasons. But I do think that Thrun sort of represents the most reasonable compromise of those two extremes.

If we've given up on renting Rutta out because he sucks so bad he can't get an offer then I would be for scratching Rutta for Thompson in all honesty. For someone like Mukhamadullin or Cagnoni to come up, it probably should come at Thrun's expense due to his waiver status but that's I think close to being up. I'd trade Ferraro if I could but I want the team to be more aggressive with their young players getting opportunities.

I felt like he has gotten a little more confident but he does still have some bad errors. It just seems it's been a bit less frequent in the past few weeks.
