First game under a new head coach for opponent tonight. What could possibly go wrong?

I am intrigued by the Berard recall and who he slots in for. I'll probably be let down.

Wherever the keg is!
I banged my toe accidentally against the table leg. Thought this one did it, meaning I finally broke my big toe.

Nope.

Just cracked it a few times and it felt okay.

Look forward to do doing that again than watching these buffoons.

Montgomery’s debut. Blues will probably play hard for their new coach. Rangers need a rebound after a brutal western trip but it could go one of two ways for us; put a stake in the ground and make a statement after the embarrassing finale of the road trip or look lethargic and complacent because they’re finally back in the comforts of home.

I expect more of the same from the Rangers.

They are talented enough to win on talent alone, but they rely on that too much and constantly need to be reminded that you cant take off shifts or entire periods and rely too heavily on the guy whos in net.

Its one of those seasons where you are counting the days until when it really counts, but it feels like the players are going through the motions as well and that leads to bad habits. The coaching staff sees it.

At some point there needs to be a shake up and a deal needs to be made to change the dynamic of both the defense and offense. I honestly dont think it has much to do with the coaching staff at all.

So if Chytil's not back I guess Kakko is at center?

Imagine he's awesome at it. That would be a nice thing to happen to this franchise.

A team is not talented enough when Trouba and Lindgren are regulars.

I wonder how long Kreider has been nursing something.

I know people have their differences with Kreider in general, but this has been extraordinarily bad by his own standards.

I'd say we should expect some more piss and vinegar from the team with Rempe & Berard in the lineup, but that would assume Laviolette would give them more than 5 minutes of icetime a piece. Not likely.

The Berard-Zibanejad-Cuylle line could work if we just sent the puck in, the wings went in and got it, and Zibanejad got open for a shot.

Instead, with the lack of star power on that line, we'll use Zibanejad even more as the main puck carrier, and he sucks at it.

Like, I think a team with Mika Zibanejad on it could succeed, but we convinced ourselves he's a 1C and shoehorned him into this point guard role.

I think Panarin doing regular season Panarin things has given Laviolette an inflated view of how that line has been working together this season.

Trocheck has returned to the mean after a career year, at least so it seems. It’s not a foregone concision that they should always be out there together. But options are of course severely limited when Chytil is out

Isn't Berard great in transition & carrying the puck?

Wouldn't shock me if he's been hurt for a couple weeks now. He's been floating and disengaged on most shifts and repeatedly losing battles he typically wins in his sleep.
