I think "day to day" is a nice way to cover for him being healthy scratched. Friedman getting fed his and Picasso's names would support that imo.

I think he’s had a bad shoulder for a couple of years now. Most of the time when he hits someone he seems to hit them straight on with his arms and chest.

yeah thats what I think too. If anyone has earned a healthy scratch among the doodoo core its 20, because unlike 93 55 and 8 who look like they're trying but are just bad, he's looked like he's not even trying.
And of course NYR would never dream of embarrassing him publicly so an "injury" cover story seems likely.
