With k miller back and moving well playing physical Mcquaid days are numbered. I can't watch him continually giving the puck away and missing simple passes to his teammates.

I f they are soft you have to look at Backes, Beleskey, McQuaid, Kevan they need to do and are not. Your as soft as your toughest guys, biggest hit this year was from Pasta the goon

Scoring goals is just so difficult, before every game I have a sliver of hope that maybe we'll crank out like 4-6.

And as predicted, with Pasta back, Nash moves back to 3rd line C, and Spooner shifts back to the wing.

Just more proof his days in Boston as a center are numbered.

His days in Boston period are probably numbered.

If Boston can find a more suitable winger for Spooner they should make that move. Forget waiting for a miracle to happen and a Top 4 D-man to shake loose somewhere.

Bruins need to be proactive here. Move Spooner for a winger and get some secondary scoring help they desperately need.

Not a bad plan. I continue to be shocked that Spooner can't net a simple #4 D. I've always said lower sights. I don't care if the guy has no clue in the offensive end...just be young and steady. We keep hearing Spooner is a "50 point guy" or whatever.

I've always assumed DS sets his sights too high. Dial it down.

Considering how awful a fit he is on our NHL team, I'm not sure why you'd believe he, entering his fifth partial season in the NHL, would net a top 4 D (extremely valuable assets). I'd like it to be the case, but logically I don't see how that's possible.

This reminds me of the "of course Caron can net a first or second round pick...he's a third or fourth liner on non-playoff teams" argument. It just doesn't make sense.

Lack of natural skill up and down the lineup is very apparent.

Hate the 3rd line made up of leftovers. Nash is so vanilla. Czarnik and Spooner have speed and skill, but are in difficult position to succeed. Neither playing well. Should both be playing 3rd fiddle on separate lines.

McQuaid or K.Miller please. Not both. That 4 on 4 sequence with Miller was embarrassing.

Dale Arnold is the Jacobs family's *****.

The Bruins could go down 6-0 and be outshot 100-3 in the first period and he'd say something like, "well...the Bruins caught some tough breaks that period, but with all things considered, it could be worse".

I would rather have Kuraly driving the net then Hayes. The lines look off today, Bergy is struggling. Krechs line is so-so, Backes is fighting the puck and Beleskey does not have the hands to carry the play. Nash, Spooner, Czarnik do not mix. Rather see Spooner back with Krech at least give David some one that can make a give and go, Backes goes to the net and has less speed then Krech. Maybe they can pick it up but they Sens look hungrier

All of NESN is this way .. no one has any balls to call anyone out or ask clode even a remotely challenging question in a post game interview. Not willing to hold any player or coach accountable ever.

I've been saying since before Game 1 they need to come up with 3 forward pairings and then insert the rest into those lines to spread out the offense.

This one-line team with 63/37/88 isn't going to work. Just too easy to shut down.

Backes has 5 points in 12 games as a winger with Krejci.

He had 3 points in 2 games as a center.

He's not that bad. He's a very skilled player. That's about it...speed, plus passer and a nice shot. Spooner in the right place would put up points. He's no Seguin, but he needs the Seguin treatment...just go put on a show...we don't care from there...

But I assure you Spooner has value...not top talent value, like DS has probably been trying put a package together for...but a nice player isn't unreasonable at all.

Anyway...game on.

K. Miller turns over pucks under pressure. It is what he does. McQuaid plays bigger in big games while Miller folds under pressure.

K.Miller with another unskilled play leading to a prime scoring chance for Ott. Then Spooner took a penalty...

I'm so glad useless #86 is back...

Good thing Kevan Miller is upstairs and not down on the ice making all these defensive mistakes that Colin is making.

Wait, what? That's Kevan you say? But I thought being solid defensively was like his thing.

This has the makings of a game Boston lets a goal in in the final 2 minutes.

This team doesn't need to trade one of the few offensive talents for a defensive player!
