As much as I love when the tournament is in Canada and the entire crowd is Canadian, these European crowds are sure fun to watch. Most passionate fans in the world imo.

I mentioned this in a different thread but I think Canada needs to go back to smaller cities for this tourney... not the NHL cities. I get its about profit but I'm positive there are about 20 cities in Canada that would have insane atmospheres... London, Sarnia, Saskatoon, Hamilton and I probably missed a few very obvious ones.

Yup... we should have a very solid squad next year... Svozil should be on that team as well. Both Malik and Parik are still eligible I think plus Bednar as a third.

Kubicek should be back with Klikorka and Svozil. I think Has is eligible too!

I'm not saying Gold or anything but it could be a very good squad.

Baby steps... we're not losing because of bad luck, we're losing because we're behind the times. I'd be happy with consistent Top 3 finishes in Pool play and the occasional quarter win.

Hope Has is okay.. that'd be devastating too.. we'd only ahve 5 D for Sweden. We're a big enough underdog as it is.

I've been to two WJC tournaments, one in Canada and one in USA. I think that Czech Republic is next on my list. I'll probably go next time it's over there. Looks like a good crowd and pretty convenient location.
