I really really wanted Tex to be real good this year. But everyone else on the team outside of Kapanen has been better.

There’s still plenty of time for him to self correct, but if it doesn’t work out, oh well, not a high acquisition cost.

Texier just flipped the puck high, without even taking a glance first, and flips it over the glass, putting his teammates on the pensalty kill. They've hit the crossbar, and not scored, so far. But a bit of a careless play might have cost them.

1) The hit on Texier was something we need more of in hockey. Stepped forward, sort of a shove hit to put him on the ice, didn’t try to shoulder his head off.
