Yeah I saw that on the replay but that does not absolve Binnington of all fault there. He was cheating off the post hard there. From where that shot was their should have been far less daylight on the short side.

Overall not Binningtons best game tonight.

I'll go to war with anyone saying Binnington isn't a good goalie but he has not been up to his standard this year. Both he and Hofer have given up way too many stoppable goals.

I hate to say it because I love the guy; but Schenn is toast.
He really needs to go the Marian Hossa route and find a reason to retire before he completely destroys his reputation here.

Schenn is done. It's not just that the physical skills have declined. His mental game has been terrible this season. He's making mistakes that a captain shouldn't be making.

Faulk absolutely sucks. He loves to talk a big game to the media about how our losses are “unacceptable” but he does very little on the ice to help anything.

Now that Krug might become LTIRetired, jettisoning Faulk and his contract should be Army’s next priority on the blueline in the offseason.

While I wouldn't be surprised if he is moved, I wouldn't be surprised if he stays either. We are severely lacking in RHD, but, it would be nice if we could get someone younger and a better fit.

So glad Thomas is back. But Man we really need our Three top defenseman to be better. Tex needs to be scratched next game for M. Joseph. Not a big fan of Holloway and Bolduc getting less than 10 minutes of ice time.

It's because they are getting stuck in the same spot Leddy-Parayko were last season. They are getting severely overworked defensively. Part of that is injuries to Leddy and Broberg, but a part of it is Faulk has been terrible.

Agreed. Another solid game for Bolduc, I actually like him and Holloway together. Texier has been frustrating, had reasonably high hopes for him this year but so far it hasn't been pretty.

4th line is getting over played IMO. Give some of their shifts to Bolduc - Holloway - Joseph.

Joseph should be in for Tex. Joseph, Holly, and Bolduc would be a good line. Bolduc seemed to play well in limited minutes tonight, would like to see him get more shooting opportunities.

Nice to see Scottie get another goal, I always believed in the talent he has.

So nice to have Thomas back especially taking important faceoffs.

Corey Schueneman has continued to impress me, never seems to get burned defensively and makes some sick passes out there, good IQ.

With that result the Blues fall to 5th worst points percentage. Given up the sixth most goals and scored the 6th fewest. Neither goalie has played as well as they did last year and our injury luck hasn’t been nearly as good. Recipe for a real tough season. Tank should be on IMO. Move the pieces you can near the deadline and play the kids who are borderline ready.

Buccigross genuinely likes the Blues, the city, Binnington, and adores the uniform. And he sees a lot of subtle things when he calls a game. I appreciate him

I agree with most of this, especially about Scheuneman, he made a couple plays last night that were very noticeable to me, hope he can keep up the solid play until we get healthier.

Tough game. Seemed fairly even. We fought back to tie it twice. Couple thoughts ..

I don't understand the plan with Bolduc. His underlying numbers and eye test are good. Only 5 points but in no minutes. He us #2 on the team in points per 60 and top 4 in most advanced metrics. He's one if the few + players and we only play him 8 minutes. Holloway was also used ridiculously little.

Perunovich is lucky we got injuries. His NHL career was likely over. 8th D, had shown nothing. We lose LD1, LD2 and LD4. Suddenly he is playing top 4 minutes and not looking bad. No clue what happened but good on him. Hopefully for him he can keep it up. And its a zero sum game. Poor timing for POJ with injuries. He is probably now on the outside looking in again when healthy.

He's a UFA at the end of the season and has very minimal trade protection. If he can get us a mid round pick with us having very very little i think it's something we need to look into. If we can find a deal with any of Suter, Faksa, or Saad we should look into it.

Keeps what up? His blistering 16 points and -28 +/- pace over 82 games? Dallas paid to get rid of him and he is playing worse than he did there. Even at 50% retention, there will be better option available for a $1.675 cap hit after full retention. He's pacing for career lows in faceoffs, advanced stats and points per game. He'll have to do a lot more than keep it up if we want to get a 4th much less a 2nd.

He was not cheating off the post, he looked to be perfectly on his angle. There was no way that shot was beating him unless it changed direction while already in flight, which it just so happened to do.

Execution aside, that was possibly the worst place in St. Louis to get a chicken parm if you are someone who likes a real chicken parm. And then it looks like they also overcooked the hell out of the chicken.

Yea that looks absolutely terrible. I know Bucci got one at Napoli the night before and they do it right there for sure. I agree with you about Katie's in general, its ok at best IMO and definitely overpriced, but my wife loves it for some reason so we still eat there from time to time.

I just looked at Katie's menu. Never been there, never heard of it.

The photo of the chicken parm made me click on it just to make sure I was seeing that correctly.

They placed salad greens (looks like arugula) directly on top of the hot chicken.

Amateur. Never going there. Inflated prices for chicken; the lowest of the low proteins. And no side dish.
