Yup Monty will have to take the fall. Charlie Jacobs should fire everyone including Neely and Sweeney. New president and Gm and new coaching staff. Carlo,Coyle and Geekie all healthy scratches until we can trade or place them on waivers and bury them in Providence. Korpisalo has to get the majority of the games because our 8.25 million dollar man has his head dreaming about buying yachts instead of stopping pucks

The biggest surprise of the season has to be the D-corps. I doubt a single person here imagined it would be this bad.

Their special teams are abysmal.

So what’s their brand of winning hockey?

It's funny, Sweely though Florida's formula was being big and grinding when it's just being in the best shape of any team. If you watch florida you can't tell if it's the first shift or the end of a game they always play at full pace.

He was 100% responsible for the first one. Carlo had the puck carrier, backside D gets the guy going to the net. 100 times out of 100.

I usually wait until later May or June, but ... it's on to focusing on the Sox already. At least their interest in Soto is more exciting than this. Especially with the money and years locked up in a few players, it ain't getting better anytime soon.

Not sure how Jay Leach is getting a free pass there defending as a whole is atrocious! Why did we hire this guy ?

I've been thinking about that too. Defense has been a staple for years and then this guy comes along and nobody seems to know where to be. Leach could be sending conflicting messages with how the Bruins have usually ran their defensive zone. One huge problem I see too much is the wingers vacating the zone too quickly when the dman is still under pressure with the puck.

On Saturday the wife and I are making the 2.5 hour trek down the 401 from southwestern Ontario to Detroit to see the Bruins take on the wings. Hoping for a win.
