Well other than the offense, the defense, the goaltending, the discipline, the heart, the grit, the passing, the shooting, the coaching, the special teams, and the scoreboard; I thought that was a pretty good period from the Boston Bruins.

I feel the locker room lost all of its “tightness” after Chara, Krejci and Bergeron left.

Feels like they’re all playing for themselves and not each other.

I think one of the issues is that everyone in the room is supposed to be tight with one another. How do you hold guys accountable if you are all friends? That could cause a rift if someone in that room tries to or can't because it puts them in an uncomfortable position.

The 2011 team had different cliques, but they all played for each other.

I just don't see how Monty gets let go. If the next coach can't help the team improve, Sweeney and Neely have no one else to blame and suddenly they will be on the hot seat.

I don’t know if Sweeney survives a DNQ or not.

I guess that’s the thing about sports. Sometimes you just break as a team. Sometimes you can overachieve with less talent. Other times the bottom just completely falls out.

Is there a lack of talent?

Absolutely.

Are they this bad on paper?
