Them not being called usually doesnt change that it was a slash.

90% of hooks and interferences dont get called too.

Do you think that was a forceful swing? That is the definition of slashing.

He was going against the grain, moving the stick to make room.

Not that it affects the game, but that's not a slash.

Slashing with the front of his stick going against the grain? Looked like he was pushing the stick out of the way and the defender let it go.

Usually slashes aren't even called unless the stick breaks, let alone a forward push with the toe of the stick

I don't know what you watch, but knocking the stick out of someone's hand is pretty much an automatic call..

Tampa will bounce back

Leafs have to be ready for game 3

Depends entirely on Hedman/Cernak, those 2 are their rocks defensively. Hedman will probably play at 50% , no idea how effective he'll be. Their other defenders just arent competent enough in their own end. Sergachev is way too bad defensively to be relied on in games like this. Glorified PP specalist.

Holy man. Another game of awful calls in favour of Tampa. Both Knies penalties were an absolute sham. McCabe on Perry was also a complete joke.

Somebody needs to say something.

Perry and Maroon crying because some fans hurt their feelings really warms my heart.

I feel bad for Jeannot. Tampa paid an insane amount and expects so much, but he’s just straight up not good. Just way too many unrealistic expectations on the poor guy.

Ridiculous take. Leafs are the better team and Tampa dealing with a bunch of injuries to top players.
Tampa also has proven they can win in Toronto. The Leafs have to prove they can win in Tampa’s barn. You don’t want to let the Bolts hold serve and head back to Toronto up 3-1.

So when is Jeannot coming back?

Heard it was over for the Leafs when Jeannot comes and bullies them
