I don't know how many Battlestar Galactica fans we have here, but I had fun with it even if it only ends up amusing me.

definitely worry about the oilers speed here. I watched them against vancouver, and they play really well on the PP, so definitely need a slick game from us and keep the puck.

RYAN SMYTH SHAWN HORCOFF TEEMU HARTIKAINEN seems to be their third line and from what i can tell it is probably intended as a shutdown line. I really only base that on the 14.3% use rate of that line against the canucks.

If that is true, expect to see eberle, yakupov, hall, gagner, and RNH going up against TJ, Wingels, Handzus, burish, desjardins throughout the game. This will really be a test of our bottom six, and i wish we had gomez for this game.

The Eberle line went up against the Sedin line. Its a new day in Edmonton. The kids have been given the keys. Oilers usually struggle against the bigger/more physical Sharks, so this will be a good measuring stick for the young Oilers.

So we've covered TNG and Battlestar Galactica. If we haven't yet, I would love it if someone did something Doctor Who themed. Not sure who loves the show, but that would be my ultimate trifecta.
