That's an understatement. He'd have scored on that wraparound if he'd have crashed the net with it, instead of sitting back and trying to finesse it in. When you crash the net with full force, if the goalie gets his stick on the puck, your body is a big surface that blocks its path and often knocks it into the net as a rebound.
