I love the narrative as if he wasn’t buried on a really deep team, that went deep into the playoffs. That’s probably the best devolvement a player like Lafreniere needs to be a super star he’s going to be. I hope playmaking Lafreniere is here to stay. I think that's been the biggest disappointment his first 2 years is there just wasn't a lot of instances of the elite passing and vision that was expected from him coming out of juniors. Early but great stuff.

Absolutely. And sometimes, like our Kid Line, getting that Playoff experience on a competing team is great for them. Also, it allows them to not have to play against Hedmans right away. They can allow their processing time to adjust to NHL against 3rd pairs and allow them to grow into their bodies and fill out their frames to get stronger as they adjust to the timing and speed of the NHL, until they can play top 6 and thrive.

You're seeing the fruits that process bears with Kakko and Laf before our eyes. They're going to prove all the bust shouters wrong
