I'm not saying the sky is falling, the Kings have a good enough goalie, defense and top 6 to probably make it back to the WCF. I'm simply saying it's very hard for a 2 line team to win a championship, and this is a problem we knew we had, anyone who watched the Kings in the playoffs knew how horrible the bottom six was. And what do they do, they trade for a healthy scratch. That is the only change they made to the bottom six, and that's unfortunate.

Wasn't it basically the same bottom six that won the cup.? Look I understand what you're saying, but with zero cap space to work with, it's not like they could've added a better bottom six player if they wanted.

Sure they could have. They are paying Kyle Clifford $1.2 million to be the worst player on the team, they could be rid of Clifford and one of Fraser or King and replace them with two younger players who may actually have a pulse and can contribute to the team.
