I’ve obviously given up on this game, but I’m not giving up on the Hurricanes just yet. RBA has shown that he can adjust. The team just needs to get their confidence back. These one-sided games happened in Washington as well. And when they were down 2-0 in the series against them, it also looked over. But you never know. One game at a time. The Hurricanes need to hope the Bruins get cocky, and then outwork them at home. And start McElhinney in Game 3.

Amazing how 5 minutes in the 3rd period in Game 1 can completely alter the outcome of a series. We simply haven't recovered from that.
My intuition tells me Mrazek will not be seeing any more playoff games this year...

Rod hasn't pulled a goalie as a head coach. He ain't pulling a goalie tonight. He will pull a goalie when he thinks it gives his team a better shot to win, I'm not sure that was ever the case tonight. Whole team has been ugly.

Hard to say. RBA likes to let goalies battle through their issues but this is a different story. RBA needs to go Mac for game 3.

If he had pulled Mrazek he could have maybe seen another game this series. In this situation I don't see how you go back to him.
We literally just saw the same thing happen a few weeks ago.
How did they respond after the last 6-0 blowout? 6 straight wins.

Yep, he'll bounce back. He may not get the chance the rest of this series, but he'll bounce back. The first goal was putrid but the team as a whole aside from Ferland just doesn't seem to give a f*** today.

Don't necessarily agree. We need to carry momentum into game 3. Even if it we're over (which it's wasn't) they needed a change for period 3.
