because as the only guy who might have the skill to maybe become a 1st line center it would be his responsibility to get Patch going. Patch has skills and a real 1st line center can (must) exploit that. With ott and martisen you can't ask much from him.

fair enough but Pacioretty doesn't typically need a decent center to score.

By the way the Atlantic division is VERY weak outside of the Habs, if it weren't for MT 2 month slump we would have as much points as Columbus/Pittsburgh. There's a lot of things I would bet 500$ against the Habs but that if for sure not!
