The Everblades also won in OT tonight. Cool.
I believe They are just South of tampa. Someone else could help me out on the location.
They are in Estro. Game 3 is Monday. They have a 2‐0 series lead in the final 4.
Sound familiar?

I live in the western part of NC and have played in a roller league here since '09. There's a good mix of transplants, but Canes fans represent the majority. All good people, and it's been extra surreal for me during this series.

Side note...one of our Sabres fans actually predicted Florida would climb back from the 3-1 deficit vs Boston. At the time, I thought he was crazy to declare this.

Anyways, we play outdoors, so whenever the weather's been cool and I've opted to play forward instead of goaltend, I've typically worn my Panthers jerseys, so everyone knows I've been a loyal fan even through the lean years.

Prior to last season's success and this season's improbable playoff run, the only useful Panthers chirp I could use on Canes fans was imitating Eddie Belfour mocking Carolina divers whenever I tended net.

Sunday morning pickup will be interesting,
That highlight still makes me laugh!

I'm not going to say Florida dominated, it was (after the 1st 15 minutes of the 1st) a totally even game. I know we're Florida fans but

what a load of shit lol
The 1st sixth of the game the panthers played like butt.
They were pretty good the rest of the way I thought.

We are in unfamiliar territory and I am loving every minute of it.
We need at least a split at home, but let’s just sweep them and get it over with.
Panther fans might not like this, but I have the panthers winning in 6.
I could see them winning game 3, losing game 4 at home, then losing game 5 in Carolina, ultimately finishing off the series game 6 back at home.

Being up 2-0 on the road again is fantastic, but let’s not get complacent. I don’t think the Canes will get swept, so we need to make sure we take 1 at home.

That being said, saving my fun time money for Cup tickets lol
I got money saved up, but not sure I'd be going to a playoff game. Those watch parties look pretty appetizing to me.
I know it's super early, but quite a few people are thinking of going, we should try to find a time. I'm thinking the weekend of June 10th for myself.
I see the finals start June 3rd.

Smart play, but Barky winning the FO and being able to somehow tie up both Burns and Slavin in the corner is what makes the difference and allows Bennett, MT and Reinhart to have that 3-on-1 against JStaal!

I wish all the posters planning on possibly meeting for a FLA PO game good luck, I hope you'll make it if you are really serious about it. You'll be awesome embassadors for our board and you deserve to witness this current success after all these years of misery!

And all the best to @Tkachuk Temperament, great that our team can be a big support right now in challenging times!
I really appreciate the thoughts and well wishes! Watching these games is making everything so much easier for myself!

They play out in Estero. Arena is right off I-75. My in-laws live not too far from there. Always thought about catching a game there just to check it out. Kind of wish they could move into AHL and become our AHL affiliated team. Would be awesome to be able to see our higher end prospects in action closer to home.

You should definitely go to a game this playoffs if schedules don't conflict. I'm sure you are busy on Monday ;)
Florida is a lower seed against Newfoundland. The series has the lower seed host the 1st 3 games, then higher seed hosts the next 4.
Maybe you could catch a Kelly Cup Finals game. That would be so cool! I hear that league is very entertaining.

Charlotte could of made some noise in the playoffs this year if their captain and starting goalie weren't called up with the Big club.

Advanced metrics can be useful when combined with what you actually see happening with your eyes. But nerds who only care about metrics will never get it.

If we stay out of the box we win this series. If we play undisciplined and take penalties we let Carolina back in it.
Not saying you're wrong but we've said this about all of our playoff opponents, and we still come out on top despite taking lots of penalties.

A lot of that is because of Bob, but also because we just more than make up for it in our strengths.

It's way too early to start thinking about it but after beating Boston and Toronto and also Carolina (for Florida to advance) it would be hard to argue Vegas is better than any of those teams. I watched the game today, Dallas was the better team, they lost because of Suter going full Weegar and Oettinger continuing to look very mediocre.

Vegas has beat an extremely dysfunctional Jets team, an Oilers team that's Anaheim Duck level at 5 v 5, and have looked pretty ordinary vs Dallas. They've definitely had an easier path so far.

I watched that Winnipeg series some. The Jets looked so bad.

We haven’t really taken a huge amount of penalties. We have had a few but nothing too outrageous.
