Is it too early to say that I think Cogliano-Koivu-Winnik will stay together for a long period of time, much like Moen-Pahlsson-Niedermayer did?

nice win from the ducks. zomg guys, 2-0 to start the season..
but the ducks still have a ton of work to do. especially in the d-zone and the PK. i want another win when the canucks come to town :D

hopefully by then fowler is @ 100%, ryan gets motivated/his head out of his ass, and we see holland up

It must not be October, because Getzlaf is never good during the first month of a season. Nice to see him get off to a great start. Daniel Winnik, any chance he could pull a Craig Conroy, or am I being silly? hehe Player evolution or just a fantastic two games, and nothing else....

i donno. i mean he's a hard-working body crashing guy which is great but his goals today were flukes lol. first goal was awful by kipper and the second one went off his skate haha..

btw fowler lead all duck players in ice time today :)

Third line has been dynamite.

Second line...needs some love. They have not looked sharp at all.

I am loving how Palmieri is looking with the twins.

Not a well played win, but..."yay 4 pointz"

Palmieri-Getzlaf-Perry
Ryan-Holland-Selanne
Winnik-Koivu-Cogliano
Beleskey/DSP-Bonino-Rakell

?

Why put Bonino on the 4th line? Rakell has been perfectly good as a center there. Bonino has a seat in the press box for the home opener.

Palmieri-Getzlaf-Perry
Cogliano-Koivu-Winnik
Ryan-Holland-Selanne

Indeed. A lot of defensive breakups They need to be much sharper come Friday. DSP needs to sit a bit.

ya if we're gonna sit someone i'd like to see DSP sit for holland. but he was better tonight than saturday in vancouver.

bonino hasn't been bad imo. both selanne and ryan have been pretty bad.

I hope BB realizes that if that was ANY other team besides Calgary, we would of lost. Second line was a complete non-factor in every way. Getzlaf started the game on FIRE but slowly fizzled away. Our third line is great but teams are going to start to take notice of them, and then we're in trouble. We can't rely on our third line to be scoring the goals. Forth line was also a non-factor.

I think next game we'll see Bonino on the 4th line, Holland on the second and Rakell sent back to junior. I love Rakells game but I don't know if there's a spot for him.

Where else should we put Bonino? I don't think he should get scratched just yet...

His goals have all been quite fluky, but you can't blame a guy. When in doubt with the puck, throw it on the net, when in doubt without the puck, go to the net. He is getting rewarded for being a smart player.

Fowler looked great, 3rd line looks tremendous, all 3 of them, Cogs looks like a different player so far, nice to have a set role huh? Getzlaf looks dominant, Palmieri gets better every single shift, and the kids on the 4th line gave us good minutes, especially Rakell. Souray and Bonino had rough games, I'm ready to see Holland get a chance on the 2nd line, heck Rakell looks better than Bonino right now.

Hiller also saved the game for us in the 2nd the box score doesn't do him justice

Because if Holland can't cut it at NHL speed you need a center who can at least play 2nd line defense. Two rookie centers is asking for a loss.

Bro what game did you watch? Getzlaf was the best player out there in the 3rd period
