I agree. The one positive thing out of it is a back to back game giving fourth line a little bit more time near the end of the game and having Bastian with fresh legs for late in the game might be a a tiny advantage.

Does any keep a stat of goals allowed when a goalie is pulled? The Devil's seem to give up a lot of goals when the other team pulls their goalie... which is kind of weird because they had a very good PK

I don’t remember it happening much last year, though I do remember us scoring quite a few with ours pulled. I even think there was a three straight game stretch where we did it to tie the game at one point around all star break.

And I also remember scoring quite a few when we were down by two, but didn’t tie the game but fell just short and brought it to one.

In years past I think we probably did allow a decent amount of those though, but not too many times last year. I think it happened two times though, possibly three. Maybe even more than that, where they didn’t tie it because we were up by two.

That's a good point also. He has never put his foot in his mouth and has found the perfect balance between candid and measured.

But this also means that we would kick him out if its not a long term. Where's Johnny Gaudreaunee? Signed up with another team? Now he will launch such a company that everyone will only talk about the fact that Meier is coming to Devils. There will be no competitors left, and he will keep three main young players.
