Hofer completely overplayed the wrap around. It's on him. Which makes it even worse because he had defenders preventing the wrap around so he didn't need to overplay it.

Yea maybe. Not sure what he's told to do but he did look like he committed pretty hard once the puck was behind the net.

I mean sure, but we don't really know what the direction is from coaching when the play is where it was. They may say play man on man, they may say in front of the goalie and protect the pass.

True I (We) don’t know so just conjecture . Celebrini had a man on him and Parayko was angling to the far post. Hofer over played the wrap around threat to the far post, but Leddy was in no man’s land. No one was covering the guy in the slot and imho that’s Leddy guy. I hated that situation when I played goalie.
