Mailloux is more ready than Barron. Barron is never ready and seems to put too much pressure on himself or not enough.

To me they are very different players, Barron is a true puck mover, great first pass, sweet skater, but super soft esp. for his size. Mailloux is much more physical, skates well but not as well as Barron, he has a great shot but I would not call him a great PP QB and I think his transition game is weaker than Barrons. Defensively he cleans the area around the net but I think he just like Barron does have positioning lapses in his own zone.

Does Heineman have to go through waivers if he doesn't make the Habs?
