Igor's not the reason for this tragedy but he sure as he'll not an asset this game. This is how he played most of last year. Ugh. We can't afford to get Vezina Igor in March again. This team is not good enough to win in spite its goaltending. Look how pathetic our offense is.

Good to see you back in form in game 2

Now that was an annoying period. Had some great chances but at times we really looked like last years team, especially in the D zone. Now that was an annoying period. Had some great chances but at times we really looked like last years team, especially in the D zone.

KK has looked pretty sluggish for the most part, and the Panarin line seemed to stop making crisp passes about halfway through

I have my biases but I really think Jones has been ok (certainly not great) outside of the two passes Schneider gave him that did him no favors at all. Schneider is ok until he's pressured down near the goal line, then he seems to panic and just get rid of the puck haphazardly (kind of like Roszival back in the day).

Yep. When a team gets bailed out like Columbus did in the first, they get momentum. It snowballs. Goalie now playing like a brick wall. Everything starts going in. Always the case. Vally talking about it now.

So true, it's also true we have a LOT to clean up. But it's game 2 so hey ho.
